Minimum qualifications:

• Integrate into an established team. We are exclusively recruiting teams that are already formed, and both members of the team need to apply for this position
• Competent to work with a fellow driver in a sleeper tractor for extended trips
• - Individuals must have reached the age of 21
• Maintain an authentic Class A commercial driver's license
• Have familiarity with the functioning of vehicle safety and control systems
• A record of safe driving practices and a positive driving background
• Have an up-to-date DOT Medical Certification Card or clear a DOT physical examination at the expense of the company
• Open to working remotely for the duration of a typical five-day work schedule
• Holding endorsements for handling hazardous materials and operating tank vehicles, as well as doubles/triples

Preferred qualifications:

• Team driving and over-the-road experience require multiple individuals to collaborate in driving a vehicle over long distances, dividing the journey into shifts
• Successful interaction with dispatchers and team members requires adept verbal and written communication capabilities
• Proficient at working self-sufficiently and cooperatively in a team setting, exhibiting notable teamwork and unity

Roles:

• Perform trips moving loads from one XPO facility to another for pick up and delivery and engage with other XPO team members during the operations
• Guide through multiple pathways, uphold the safety of CMVs, and ensure adherence to transportation laws
• Drive diverse truck-trailer pairs over extended distances as part of a regular five-day workweek away from home
• Ensure safe operation of the vehicle in accordance with DOT regulations
• Perform operations using internal freight transportation tools and the associated systems

Requirements:

• Hoist items with a variety of shapes, sizes, and loads (commonly up to 50 lbs. and at times exceeding 75 lbs.)
• Ensure safe entry and exit from tractor cab/trailer
• Stay stationary for extended durations within a truck cabin
• Raise (going beyond your head), curve, mount, thrust, tug, pivot, stoop, and bend your knees
• Operate a tractor-trailer combination for a period of up to 11 successive hours in any weather condition, ensuring the safe transportation of all types of cargo
• Adequately handle a handheld tool
