We manage bookkeeping and accounting on behalf of a portfolio of small and mid-sized client businesses across e-commerce, retail, real estate, construction, hospitality, professional services, and CPG/manufacturing. We're looking for a detail-oriented, self-directed bookkeeper or accountant to join our team and take ownership of client accounts handling everything from one-time cleanup and catch-up projects to ongoing monthly bookkeeping and staff augmentation.
You won't be tied to a single business you'll be working across a rotating or fixed set of client accounts, following each client's specific setup and reporting needs while our team coordinates the relationship, scope, and communication with the end client.
Some example client engagements look like this:
- A one-time reconciliation and cleanup project for an S-corp's full year of financial records, delivered as a clean package ready to hand off to the client's CPA for tax prep.
- Ongoing part-time remote bookkeeping in QuickBooks Online for a multi-location retail business, including monthly reconciliations, AP/AR, and bi-monthly payroll support.
- Full-ownership bookkeeping for a fast-growing logistics/moving company — building clean systems, managing AR/AP, fixed assets, and monthly financial reporting, and acting as a proactive financial point of contact.
- QuickBooks Online cleanup and correction for a small business client whose books have fallen behind, with a path to ongoing monthly bookkeeping once cleanup is complete.
- If you enjoy untangling messy books, building processes that scale, and communicating financial information in plain language, we'd like to hear from you. This is an ongoing opportunity to work across multiple client engagements over time, not a single one-off gig tell us in your proposal about your capacity and availability for recurring work.

- Identify and correct bookkeeping errors, duplicate entries, and discrepancies
