<strong>Overview<br><br></strong>Enterprise Mobility has an exciting opportunity for a Full Time DOT 9-15 Bus Driver – LaGuardia Airport (LGA). The Bus Driver provides superior, friendly, efficient service during the rental car process, transporting customers to and from the rental facility in a safe and timely manner. Establishes and maintains clear communications with other bus operators and management team to ensure a consistent, superior level of customer service. Performs all responsibilities with a focus on the needs of our customers and in accordance with our Quality Standards.<br><br>This position is located at LaGuardia Airport (LGA) - 9501 Ditmars Boulevard East Elmhurst, NY 11369. This position offers a base pay of $21.83 / hour, with an additional health care supplement of up to $5.55 per hour, bringing the total potential hourly rate to $27.38. Additional bonuses may also be available. Enterprise Mobility and its affiliates offer extensive car rental, car-sharing, truck rental, fleet management, retail car sales, as well as travel management and other transportation services, to make travel easier and more convenient for customers.<br><br>Privately held by the Taylor family of St. Louis, Enterprise Mobility together with its affiliate Enterprise Fleet Management manages a diverse fleet of 2.4 million vehicles through a network of more than 9,500 fully-staffed neighborhood and airport rental locations in more than 90 countries and territories.<br><br><strong>Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li>Deliver customers and vehicles to appropriate destination in a safe and courteous manner</li><li>Greet each customer personally in a friendly and welcoming manner</li><li>Operate the courtesy shuttle in accordance with all laws and regulations while following company policy to ensure a safe and pleasant operating environment</li><li>Assist customer(s) load and unload luggage, enter and exit vehicle and miscellaneous customer needs</li><li>Notify Manager of any customer or vehicle problems including daily maintenance, including but not limited to ensuring proper oil, tire and fluid levels</li><li>Provide appropriate local information, distribute maps and handouts as required</li><li>Communicate with office and other drivers via 2-way radio or cellular phone</li><li>Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned<br><br></li></ul><em>Equal Opportunity Employer/Disability/Veterans<br><br></em><strong>Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li>Must have an unrestricted, valid New York "E CLASS" driver's license. </li><li>Must have previous customer service experience.</li><li>Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds to assist customers.</li><li>Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and not require sponsorship, now or in the future.</li><li>Must be willing to accept $21.83 an hour.</li><li>Must be available to work 40 hours per week, with availability including days, evenings, overnights and weekends, based on a shift bid.</li><li>Must have at least six (6) consecutive months of prior work/organizational experience.</li><li>Must be able to read, write, and understand English.<br><br></li></ul><strong>DOT Requirements<br><br></strong>We are subject to certain Department of Transportation Regulations<br><br><ul><li>All applicants must be at least 21 years of age and be qualified to drive under D.O.T. regulations. Applicants will be required to submit an appropriate medical examiner's certificate, or submit to and successfully complete a D.O.T. medical examination. No moonlighting is allowed (no other paid employment allowed).</li></ul>
