About the position

Verizon is looking for a Digital Media Ad Operations Senior Manager to join our Digital Media Adtech team within the Chief Marketing Organization (CMO). Reporting to the Associate Director of Adtech, you will serve as the owner of our site tag and CAPI strategy and implementation. You have deep knowledge of the evolution of the tracking landscape regarding, for example, 3rd party cookie deprecation and server-side tech. You also understand Legal and Privacy involvement in the landscape. You are a technical thinker, who can also grasp the bigger picture and understand the implications of the day-to-day technical nuances. You challenge conventional industry standards and ensure a bespoke strategy is carried out for Verizon. You are tasked with kicking off new integrations, and also enhancing existing ones, ensuring our site tagging and CAPI infrastructure is optimized for Verizon needs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Site Tagging and CAPI Strategy & Execution: Oversee end-to-end implementation of website pixels/tags, including requirement gathering, resourcing, troubleshooting, and QA.
  • Drive Legal Compliance: Partner closely with Verizon Privacy and Legal to ensure implementation complies with Verizon governance standards.
  • Collaborate with tech teams: Work with technical data teams to set up integrations, ensuring execution abides by Verizon and partner requirements.
  • Collaborate with Verizon Sourcing: Work closely with the Sourcing team to ensure negotiated contract terms cover specific use cases and respective terms.
  • Partner with Media Leaders: Provide technical guidance to digital media leads to ensure site tagging and CAPI set up aligns with campaign KPIs, leadership expectations, and overarching business goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training.
  • Hands-on experience with Tag Management Systems (e.g. Tealium, Adobe, Google Tag Managers) to deploy media tracking via tagging and Online CAPI.
  • Hands-on experience with data onboarding platforms (e.g. LiveRamp, Epsilon) to implement Offline CAPI integrations across digital media platforms.
  • Technical understanding of hashing, PII protection, and data sharing methods (e.g. SFTP, API).
  • Familiarity with Legal and Privacy regulations and their impact on data sharing.
  • Familiarity with contract negotiations regarding scopes of works, data processing terms, etc.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience performing queries in data warehouses (e.g. BigQuery)
  • Hands-on experience with media buying platforms across Display, Video, Social, Search (e.g. The Trade Desk, DV360, Google Ads, TikTok, Meta, etc.)
  • Hands-on experience with ad servers (e.g. CM360, Innovid)
  • Familiarity with Legal and Privacy regulations and their impact on data sharing within the telecom industry specifically.
  • Fluency in project management systems (e.g. Workfront, Asana, Jira).
