This role blends operational leadership with strategic responsibility for executing TruStage’s network modernization roadmap, including automation, cloud‑ready connectivity, improved observability, and software defined networking.</p><p></p><p><b>Job Responsibilities: </b><br><b>Team Leadership & Management </b></p><ul><li>Lead and manage multiple teams of IT professionals, including network engineers, systems administrators, and operations staff, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.  Where the Manager II, IT Infrastructure & Operations also has significant Product Owner responsibilities for their area, they may only manage one team of IT professionals.</li><li>Develop team capabilities through mentoring, training, and performance management</li><li>Work closely with senior leadership to develop and execute the infrastructure and operations strategy, aligning it with the organization’s broader IT and business objectives.</li><li>Coordinate cross-functional efforts, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across teams and departments.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>IT Infrastructure Strategy & Management</b></p><ul><li>Contribute to the development and implementation of infrastructure strategies that support the organization’s long-term goals and objectives.</li><li>Oversee the design, deployment, and maintenance of all infrastructure components, including servers, networks, storage, and data centers.</li><li>Drive continuous improvement of infrastructure performance, reliability, and scalability.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Operations Management</b></p><ul><li>Manage the day-to-day operations of IT systems, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.</li><li>Establish and enforce best practices, processes, and procedures for IT operations, including incident, problem, and change management.</li><li>Ensure that all systems and operations are compliant with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Project Management</b></p><ul><li>Provide advanced technical guidance and support to teams, particularly in solving complex technical challenges.</li><li>Lead complex infrastructure projects, from planning and design through to implementation and evaluation.</li><li>Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements, timelines, and resources, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.</li><li>Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and service agreements, ensuring that third-party services meet company standards.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Compliance & Security</b></p><ul><li>Oversee the implementation and management of robust security protocols to protect IT systems and data.</li><li>Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with security policies.</li><li>Lead the response to infrastructure security-related incidents, ensuring minimal impact on business operations.<br> </li></ul><p><b>Resource Management</b></p><ul><li>Optimize the allocation of resources, including personnel, hardware, and software, to meet the organization’s needs.</li><li>Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.<br> </li></ul><p><b>Reporting & Documentation</b></p><ul><li>Maintain comprehensive documentation of infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures.</li><li>Prepare and present detailed reports on system performance, project status, and team productivity to senior leadership.</li><li>Provide insights and recommendations for future infrastructure investments and improvements.</li></ul><p></p><p>The above statement of duties is not intended to be all inclusive and other duties will be assigned from time to time.</p><p></p><p><b>Job Requirements:</b></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and/or related professional work experience.</li><li>7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and operations, with 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.</li><li>Proven experience in managing complex infrastructure environments and leading multiple technical teams.</li><li>Deep expertise in one or more of the following:<ul><li>Server management, networking, security, storage systems, and/or data center operations;</li><li>Network protocols, firewall management, and security best practices;</li><li>Cloud computing platforms and hybrid infrastructure environments;</li><li>Virtualization technologies and/or disaster recovery planning;</li><li>Management of End User Services technologies;</li><li>ITSM processes and procedures;</li><li>Monitoring, observability, and/or event management.</li></ul></li><li>Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, lead, and develop high-performing teams.</li><li>Excellent project management skills with a track record of successfully delivering complex IT projects.</li><li>Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a strategic mindset.</li></ul><p>Preferred Experience:</p><ul><li>Routing, switching, wireless, WAN, and SD‑WAN</li><li>Hybrid and cloud network connectivity</li><li>Network monitoring, observability, and automation tooling</li><li>Translating network and infrastructure strategy into executable plans</li><li>Partnering with Enterprise Architecture on future‑state connectivity and SASE
