About the position

The Remote Pilot in Command (RPIC) position at Flying Lion Inc involves operating drones as part of the Drone as First Responder (DFR) programs. Responsibilities

Operate drones within FAA regulations, ensuring safe and efficient mission completion
Maintain visual and airspace awareness during all flights
Execute pre-flight checks and equipment maintenance to ensure mission readiness
Engage in continuous communication with the team for operational efficiency
Address and troubleshoot any technical issues to maintain high operational standards

Requirements

Current FAA Part 107 certification
Minimum of 10 logged flight hours (training on specific platforms provided)
Must possess the ability to speak and write in English
A professional attitude and ability to execute discretion
Ability to work in outdoor conditions
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks

Nice-to-haves

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Strong interest in technology, particularly sUAS, and its application in public safety
Customer service experience
