<strong>Standard Job Description<br><br></strong>Directs all phases of programs from inception through completion. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Responsible for the cost, schedule and technical performance of company programs or subsystems of major programs. Participates in the negotiation of contract and contract changes. Coordinates the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets and financial terms/conditions of contract. Acts as primary customer contact for program activities, leading program review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance. Establishes design concepts, criteria and engineering efforts for product research, development, integration and test. Develops new business or expands the product line with the customer. Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies program problems and obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications. Directs the work of employees assigned to the program from technical, manufacturing and administrative areas.<br><br>Short Description<br><br><ul><li>The F-35 Air Vehicle Development (AVD) Communications Navigation Identification (CNI) Program Manager is responsible for managing cost, schedule, and technical delivery of CNI development and CNI integration efforts, across multiple hardware subsystem developments and Government Furnished Equipment integration efforts on the F-35 platform.</li><li>Develop and execute program plans, driving program performance and meeting contractual commitments</li><li>Collaborate with contract program managers through the full contract lifecycle from proposal to delivery</li><li>Collaborate across the business to ensure enterprise and full lifecycle success across development, production and sustainment</li><li>Interface with Customer counterparts to ensure customer satisfaction and contractual objectives are achieved</li><li>Ensure establishment of milestones, proactively manage master schedules, utilize active risk management practices to identify future potential problems and develop solutions</li><li>Communicate program status, challenges, successes, and help needed across the enterprise and up through executive leadership, both internal and external.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Basic Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li>Bachelor's degree or higher with related experience</li><li>Related PM experience (gained through PM roles, functional PM, CAM, project manager, IPT lead, etc.)</li><li>Cross discipline team leadership experience</li><li>Technical / Development Experience</li><li>Program / Project Management Experience</li><li>Experience in DoD Contracting and Negotiating</li><li>Active Secret Clearance<br><br></li></ul><strong>Desired Skills<br><br></strong><ul><li>Experience in navigation development and integration</li><li>Experience in radio development and integration</li><li>Experience in satellite communications development and integration</li><li>Experience in electronics development and qualification</li><li>Demonstrated program management of large and complex development efforts</li><li>Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills</li><li>Strong Earned Value skills</li><li>Ability to manage, coach, train, and motivate teams</li><li>Effective communication skills at all levels</li><li>Experience working SAP/SAR programs</li><li>Experience influencing and asserting direction without formal reporting authority<br><br></li></ul><strong>Pay Information<br><br></strong>Full-Time Salary Range: $182500.00 - $338900.00<br><br>At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
