<p>The Education Advisor is responsible for selling and marketing Pitsco Education solutions to educational opportunities within a core territory. Main tasks include leading selling of products and services as needed, including follow-up and qualifying leads within their territory. Also required to research opportunities in new and/or underdeveloped markets; provide recommendations to management; forecast, create, and manage new sales and business opportunities and partnerships; attend trade shows; and coordinate workshops. Qualified candidates for this position will demonstrate energy and commitment to Pitsco Education both internally and externally.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Work Location Requirement</strong></p><p>The candidate will be required to live in one of the following states: Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island or New York .</p><p><br></p><p><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES </strong></p><p>These tasks are accomplished by performing the following duties.</p><p>• Embracing and utilizing a solution-selling approach</p><p>• Creating and implementing annual business plans focused on a given territory</p><p>• Delivering customer-facing presentations</p><p>• Building a sales pipeline</p><p>• Following up all leads within specific time frames</p><p>• Submitting all sales expense accounts per company procedures</p><p>• Traveling to and setting up displays at conventions for customer associations and attending such functions as directed</p><p>• Maintaining market share and profitability in accordance with annual plans and budget</p><p>• Producing additional sales to present customers and generating new customers</p><p>• Using sales data to drive decision-making for territory insight and growth</p><p>• Understanding the education market’s needs and dynamics</p><p>• Utilizing sales technology tools (e-sell) to prospect, sell, and market to clients</p><p><br></p><p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:</strong></p><p>• Open-minded worker who actively seeks responsibility</p><p>• Creative problem solver who thrives in a customer-centric environment</p><p>• College degree with two to three years of sales experience</p><p>• Self-motivated worker with excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks</p><p>• Strong written and verbal communication skills</p><p>• Strong presentation skills</p><p>• Personal leadership and professional skills</p><p>• Excellent computer skills</p><p>• Experience with a CRM system preferred</p><p>• Ability to work in a team environment</p><p>• Ability to travel 20% to 30% of the time required</p><p>• Current and valid driver’s license</p><p>• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds</p><p>• General office environment</p><p>• Ability to be physically mobile with reasonable accommodation including ability to walk, balance, kneel, crouch, reach, stand, and stoop</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Compensation</strong></p><p>The typical compensation range for this position is $70,000 to $130,000 annually based upon achievement of sales goals for the territory. Total compensation will include uncapped commissions and a structured bonus program. This position also includes a comprehensive benefits package.</p>
