Job Description:

  • Support the Hilton Los Cabos and Conrad Punta Mita and report to the Complex Associate Director of Sales & Marketing
  • Solicit and manage new customer relationships and accounts, including Incentive, Domestic, and HWS Accounts
  • Maintain existing customer accounts
  • Represent both resorts in customer interactions concerning sales and operational questions and challenges
  • Negotiate customer contracts and third-party agency commission agreements for leads and group opportunities of 10 to 50 peak rooms
  • Solicit and manage third-party and HWS leads to grow each hotel's market segment
  • Prepare reports on group sales operations, including annual and monthly forecasts, Lead Management System reports, Account Production Reports, and meetings
  • Conduct verbal sales presentations to prospective clients
  • Travel for client development, trainings, trade shows, FAM trips, and retail travel agencies
  • Participate in organizations as recommended by management and the Complex Associate Director of Sales & Marketing
  • Partner with Revenue Management, Marketing, Group Sales, e-Commerce, and Operations on property strategies
  • Develop and implement business plans for top accounts focused on inbound business to the Mexican Market
  • Solicit and develop new accounts for Hilton Los Cabos and Conrad Punta de Mita
  • Identify business opportunities within and outside assigned segments
  • Input and retrieve computer-system information for file maintenance, correspondence, forecasts, and marketing budgets

Requirements:

  • Four (4) years of professional experience
  • Two (2) years of hotel group sales experience
  • Recent work experience with the Incentive or Corporate market segments
  • Knowledge of the travel industry, current market trends, and economic factors
  • Experience developing and delivering sales presentations
  • Experience in writing and supervising operational budgets
  • Up to 30% international travel required
  • Luxury resort background would be useful
  • Experience with or understanding of Delphi or other major hospitality sales platforms would be useful
  • Spanish language proficiency would be useful
